The master bedroom is the centre of this home. A chinoiserie mural of cranes and flowering branches runs the full width behind the bed, with a soft curve at its corner and light washing down from above. A second option keeps the same bed against bookmatched stone.
The living room stays simple so the bedroom can speak: a fluted dado behind an L-shaped sofa, a floating TV console, and warm cove light along the ceiling.
